A.Qualified Health can be used with some insurance to reduce the amount of out-of-pocket expenses. The Qualified Health savings are based on the total cost of the service/product before any insurance claims are filed. Therefore, if your insurance has a high deductible or a high co-payment, the Qualified Health savings can be applied to help reduce some of the out-of-pocket expense. You may be able to use your card for prescription drugs not covered by your HMO or managed care plan. You can also use the Card to cover expenses not covered by most insurance plans such as dental and chiropractic care. However, Qualified Health does not undertake to pay for or reimburse you for your health care expenses.
